Mildred Zayas, MD

Dr. Mildred Zayas is a Pediatrician with a medical degree from the School of Medical Sciences in San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1987. In 1990 she completed her Pediatric training in Caguas, Puerto Rico.
She practiced medicine for 4 years in Brownsville, Texas before making the choice to stay at home to raise her two beautiful daughters.
Dr. Zayas is the CEO and owner of BFHC Research. She founded BFHC Medical Group in June of 2000 with Dr. Reyes and opened their research company, BFHC Research in 2012.
When away from the office she loves enjoying time with her family, cooking, gardening, reading and traveling! Can’t wait to see the next set of beautiful pictures!
Though leadership may be hard to define because it can mean different things to many people, a few qualities that makes a good leader are: serving and helping others, positive attitude, striving for the best, making hard choices, humility and living by example. Dr. Zayas possesses these qualities and they shine out every day. Her leadership contributes to our success at BFHC Research and staff feels honored to work with her.
