Keith Beck, MD

Dr. Beck is originally from Santa Ana, California. He completed his undergraduate and graduate degree in California State University in Long Beach. He received his Medical Degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, in 1979. Along with 2 years at UCI College of Medicine in Irvine, California.
Dr. Beck performed his clerkships at Long Beach Community Hospital in Long Beach, California. This consisted of supervised rotations in Radiology, OB-GYN, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry, Infectious Disease, General Surgery, Urology and Emergency Medicine. He completed his residency at Methodist Hospital of Dallas and Wake Forest University, N.C.
He has over 30 years of experience in Emergency Medicine. He joined BFHC Research and Bandera Family Health Care in 2008, now known as Village Medical San Antonio and has been a member of our Acute Care Staff since 2012. A true gentleman, he is hard-working, tenacious and proficient in giving his patients the best care.
His society memberships include: NARI, Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, Southern Medical Association, American College of Emergency Physicians, American Professional Practice Association and UAG Alumni Association.
Dr. Beck is also a 20 year veteran retired from the U.S. Marine Corp. He speaks 4 languages: English, Spanish, German and Japanese. He is married to his beautiful wife, over 45 years. They have 3 children together: 1 handsome son and 2 gorgeous daughters. He enjoys staying physically fit. He is an avid runner, plays racquetball, tennis and handball. He loves swimming, camping, mountaineering and holds an 8th degree black belt in Judo. Few interests includes: BONSAI (dwarf tree) horticulture, woodworking and fine cabinet making.
