Dr. Carolina Gomez Oaxaca
Dr. Carolina Gomez, IMG, is originally from Monterrey, Mexico. She attended Manises Hospital in Valencia, Spain for her International Elective, took an intensive English course in Toronto, Canada and received her medical degree from Tecnologico de Monterrey in 2020
She has completed clerkships in Monterrey, Mexico and in Valencia, Spain. Which included: Gynecology and Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Urology, Otorhinolaryngology, Radiology, Digestive Medicine, Traumatology, Emergency, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Geriatrics, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Immunology, Oncology, and Rheumatology.
She worked at a gynecology and obstetrics private practice with Dr. Fidel Morales in Monterrey, Mexico for nearly 6 years and was previously the Director of La Esperanza Health Center during 2019-2020 in Monterrey Nuevo Leon, at which time she received recognition for excellent performance in January 2020.
In January 2021 she began employment in San Antonio, Texas as a Patient Care Coordinator for the BFHC Medical Group and helped in various capacities: data mining, scribing, chronic pain team and also served as a medical assistant during the labor shortages in the pandemic.
As a clinical research coordinator, she has been part of our BFHC Research family since March 2022 and we are proud to say she has been a wonderful recruiter. A complete and valuable asset to our team, she is respectable, dependable, brilliant and conscientious of every decision.
Dr. Gomez also attended the Royal Academy Dance of London and performed ballet for 20 years. She lives and promotes a healthy lifestyle. She enjoys the outdoors, good food and quality time with her family and her cute dog, Kuzco.
